AP Japan: shortlisted for British Business Awards 2026

Atlantic Pacific and Nebama MIND have been shortlisted for UK-Japan Partnership of the Year at the British Business Awards 2026, hosted by the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan.

Our partnership began in 2016, when the community of Nebama in Kamaishi founded Nebama MIND to host Japan's first volunteer-run lifeboat service.

Ten years on, we train young people in rescue and emergency response and bring water safety into schools.

Thank you to the BCCJ, and to everyone in Kamaishi and the UK who has made this possible.
